Day 10: Tuesday May 12 Transit from Utah to Colorado

Today was all about driving. We need to get to the Denver area for Daryl to catch a plane back to San Jose to be fingerprinted for his green card, so after some searching for routes and places to stay

 

we decided to drive straight through from Bryce to Pikes Peak. Long day of driving (11 hours, 620 miles) but that ensures Daryl can see something before he leaves.

We'll do Pikes peak tomorrow morning then take him to the airport.
